Snow Canyon Park

We went with my mom and Dennis to Snow Canyon park. We played in the sand dunes and hiked on the petrified dunes. It is such a beautiful place! How come it took us three years to know it was here? Hayden loves to hike. He kept running ahead of us saying that he was the expert and that we should follow him. Tyler cracks me up.....the littlest rocks on the ground and he totally gets all cautious - warning everyone to watch their step. Miss Genevieve was held most of the time. At one point it looked safe enough for her to walk.......oops - she fell almost immediately and hurt her cute little forehead.

Grandma must not want Genevieve to fall again.

Deep in thought

There's our self proclaimed "expert" in the lead with our ever-so-cautious Tyler taking up the rear.

Hayden loves nature!

Wayne and Dennis drew pictures of their better halves in the sand.

Me.....do you see the sticks in my eyes? I better watch my back!

Dennis' turn

Grandma Bingham with her sunglasses on her head.
I think Dennis wins the "best sand drawing of their spouse" award!

It was so beautiful here! It is going to be our new favorite place to explore!

Tyler was sliding into a split.......look at that smile!

Grandma Bingham and Genevieve playing in the sand. Genevieve didn't really love walking in the sand, but playing in it was a different story.
Grandpa stole Genevieve's beloved jewels.ouch!

A better world according to Hayden

"You know what would be fun? If you never had to brush your teeth and you were never full. So you can eat and eat and eat all day! And everything was chocolate except for electricity and houses. And phones would be chocolate so if someone was trying to call and you think it is Dad's work then you pick up the phone and instead of talking to them you just go - yum yum yum - and eat it up."

A Clean Ride

So I walked into the laundry room and this is what I found. Miss Genevieve sitting on the basket waiting so patiently for a ride to the family room. I have been giving her rides since she was just 4 months old (she never let me put her down long enough to get anything done). It looks as though she expects a ride every time now. Apparently I needed to get this load put away today. Thanks Gen!
Did you notice the beads? Still wearing them every chance she gets. She cries when I take them off at bedtime and nap time.
Now the laundry is still sitting in the family room while I quickly blog her cuteness! It is next on my to-do list.

Jewels

Genevieve is almost always wearing her beads. She has recently discovered that she can put them on and take them off all by herself. What a big girl!

Chalk boy

Hayden and Mom made a huge chalk boy. Hayden says it is Tyler.
I bet Tyler will want to draw his own when he gets home from school.
