Project Complete!

We had many helping hands as we built this fort. Hayden and Tyler were great helpers. We also appreciated the help from Grandma and Grandpa Bingham and Aunt Kayla.
One requirement for being a Mom.....You have to be able to carry multiple things.

We dug out two foot holes for the posts.

Tyler was searching for the "China Man". I don't think we dug far enough.

I had to be very patient while they hammered. The thought often crossed my mind that I would be done with that board and on to the next before they finished this one nail. But they were great helpers and I appreciated that!

Hayden hammering

Look at those awesome stairs! Thanks Grandpa! You are a handy person to have around.

Aunt Kayla and I made a cute fence in the front for Genevieve.(Nice face, Hayden!)

It seemed as though I was painting for days......oh, wait, I was! Every nap Genevieve took was spent painting and hammering.

THE FINISHED PRODUCT
Did you notice the cool bucket they can pull up? And the fancy flower boxes? (I did those all by myself)

Date Night

Tyler and I had a date last Friday. We went to Brushfire to paint pottery. That is what he wanted to do with his birthday money. He is such a great artist. Tyler drew a picture of his Grandpa's plane for his plate. It turned out really great! (as you can see) I'm very proud of him. It took us two hours to complete our plates, so we had a lot of talking time. I sure enjoy my date nights with the boys. Now, if I can just make it out on a date with my dashingly handsome husband.........That would be great!

Pretty good resemblance, don't you think???

A Little STAR Struck

Today was a pretty special day for my boys. I surprised them by taking them to the preseason party for the St. George Roadrunners. Their favorite part was when the star wars characters showed up. Suddenly my boys got extra shy. They also loved the free hot dogs, chips, and soda....things they rarely get to eat (except at Grandma's). My favorite part was the cupcakes from Twenty-Five Main. Tyler and I enjoyed the coconut cupcakes and Hayden chose the chocolate. The one thing that didn't really excite them as much as all the others in the crowd was the Utah Jazz mascot. There was a huge line of people waiting to take a picture with him. Basketball isn't really our thing to watch. Anyway, it was a perfect afternoon! One that will be remembered .

Tyler and Hayden went down to run the bases
