Look who lost a few

Hayden lost his first tooth Friday night while munching on some snacks at Movie In The Park. The tooth fairy gives a really cool gift for the first tooth. So, Hayden woke up to find a new Wii game, Monkey Ball. He was so excited! Then during dinner on Saturday night he lost his second tooth. He woke up to find a dollar covered in fairy dust on the floor (it must have fallen off his bed). Wow, what a special weekend for my Hayden! More proof that he is growing up :( As long as he doesn't loose his cute giggle any time soon!

Back to School

The boys have now been in school for two weeks and it appears as though they still love their classmates and teachers. That's good news! Hayden is still waiting patiently for some homework. He really wants to be big like Tyler. However, Tyler is not a fan of all the homework he has been receiving. It's tough growing up. . . . Hayden has had to deal with a little bully in another class, but I think it has all been resolved and the playground is now a happy place. Thank goodness!

As for me, well, while the boys are in school and Genevieve is napping, I have enjoyed learning how to bake bread and make meatballs. And for all you that know me well know that I hate hAtE HATE to touch raw meat, but I did it for Wayne. You lucky man! I froze a bunch of the meatballs so that I don't have to do that again any time soon. Now, what will I accomplish during Gen's nap tomorrow???

Silly Hair Night

So......we were feelin' silly one night and this is what happened.

Tyler learned how to swim last summer and Hayden figured it out just a month or so ago. But jumping off the diving board was totally new to both of them. I was so proud of them for jumping and then swimming to the edge of the pool all by themselves.

They are growing up!

Sea World

I'm going to try something new.... I'm just going to download the scrapbook page for my blog entries. So, if you want to read what I wrote on the page, just click on the whole page and it will enlarge it for you. Just know that I am new at this whole Digital Scrapbooking thing, so my pages aren't as awesome as they could be. I've got to learn how to use all these cool tools first. =)

I wish I could scan my photo of us all on the Journey to Atlantis ride. It's totally priceless! Wayne and I are very animated as we are dropping into the water while the boys look totally freaked out. It's pretty awesome!
Here we are touching the starfish. Tyler wanted to part in that!

Lighthouse

We took a little drive out to see this cool lighthouse and an amazing view of the ocean.

This is what reflected the light from on top of the lighthouse. Pretty cool!

The boys enjoyed looking through this telescope. They were able to spy some airplanes and helicopters as well as many boats through this sucker.

Hayden fell in love with this cool "pirate ship" He is even holding it in his hand. Super Cool!
He even has a crazy pirate smile. Argh!

Thanks Grandma Cable!

The boys have a few t-shirts that they don't really fit into, but they don't want to give away. So, they brought them with us to Grandma's house so she could turn them into pillows.

The boys loved having them to cuddle with for our long drive home.

Hayden and Genevieve were testing it out.......I think it passed the test!
Good job Grandma!

Dodgers vs Brewers

Grandpa Cable took the boys to the Dodger game. Wayne downed some garlic fries (which I was very jealous about) and the boys enjoyed some cotton candy. It was an exciting game.....it was the bottom of the 9th bases loaded with 2 outs and Manny Ramirez up to bat. He popped out to right field and the Brewers won by one run. But we don't really care seeing that we are GIANTS FANS!

When they returned home, Hayden told me about the beautiful sunset they had seen. I told him that I saw it too while I was out shopping with Kayla. Hayden said, "The same one? You saw the same sunset?" He was amazed that the sunset was the same 30 miles away.

Another great day on vacation!

A Beautiful Evening

Sunset on a San Diego Beach......a beautiful sight to see.
Genevieve watching the waves.

Aunt Kayla and the boys enjoying the waves.

The two love birds! =)

Our Hayden can't take just a regular smiling photo.

But I love his personality!

La Jolla Beach

We just got back from La Jolla Beach here in sunny San Diego. We had a great time collecting sea shells, playing in the ocean and the sand.

Tyler, Daniel, and Uncle Dennis playin' in the sand. Uncle Dennis was so kind to take Tyler way out in the ocean to play in the waves. Dad doesn't really love the ocean, but eventually went out to join them.

Check out this sandy baby. It only got worse from here.

This girl was covered in sand. Seriously - in the ears and everything!

My sun bathing and very exfoliated baby.

Hayden had a great time building in the sand and finding sea shells with Mom.

Genevieve came to destroy Hayden's sand art, but Hayden wouldn't allow that....so what happens? Genevieve tackled Hayden instead.

A family photo.....plus Kayla. I'm so glad she has been here with us. We'll sure miss her when she heads off to college.
