How does your garden grow?

Tyler was a scarecrow in his school play. He did great remembering his lines and songs. I loved watching him do the dances. He is one cute kid! Aunt Kayla was able to come see his amazing performance.

Kayla was able to take some videos for us with her cell phone since my out dated camcorder is not digital. I did video the whole thing with it though....however, I was totally embarrassed to even bring it out of the diaper bag since it is a pretty large machine and, yeah, totally not hip to the times. =) But seeing that I went to the trouble of emptying out the diaper bag so this low tech gadget could fit in there, I thought I should probably go ahead and use it. Anyway, Tyler is the fellow in the middle of the screen doing his hoe down.

I'm not sure what happened to the sound. Just ignore it and watch Tyler's moves. Maybe the high-tech cell phone or our high-tech computer isn't all it's cracked up to be.

She can do what???

I can not believe that I gave birth to a monkey!
My boys never did this.

I love the lips in her this next photo. It does look a little monkey-ish. Don't you think? Can't you just hear her little monkey sounds coming from those lips?
She looks pretty proud of herself.

Now what are we going to do?

Our College Graduate

We are so proud of Kayla! She got her AS before her high school diploma. Well, just a few weeks before. Anyway, We are still very proud of her. But not happy that she will be leaving for U of U in a few months.
Genevieve would not get anywhere near Kayla while she was in those silly clothes.

Kite Festival

We went to the annual kite festival a few weeks ago. It was fun watching Wayne be a kid!
He was determined to get that kite up.

He did it! But it didn't stay up for too long. At one point the breeze completely stopped and all the kites dropped except for the ones that were way way up high. Tyler would not allow his kite to go up that high. Genevieve spotted an Elmo kite and was in complete awe over it.

We ended up staying to watch the concert and fireworks. Dad surprised the boys with snow cones which they loved! When the fireworks began Genevieve jumped into Dad's arms. She peeked out a few times, but she pretty much buried her face in Dad's chest.

Rockin' Out!

We are all enjoying Wayne's birthday present. It sure makes for good videos.

It took a minute for Tyler to get into it. It's tough when you are trying to read these tiny words across the top of the television screen. He did awesome though!

I love watching Hayden's facial expressions.

Little Miss Genevieve wanted to get in on the action. She thought she was pretty hot stuff with that guitar around her.

Did you laugh at least once? Or were you in complete awe over the Evans' mad music skills?
